Breathing Exercises
While sitting comfortably with your legs crossed
and your palms on your knees, take one big breath and close your eyes. Keeping your eyes shut, breathe out while counting
to five, then breathe in counting to 5 and repeat. You should try and keep the breathes near enough the same length.
Now sit in the same way and shut your eyes
as you breathe in. This time breathe in for five seconds and breathe out for two. Control your breathing,
once you are happy with it read on.
Meditation
Now you're happy with your breathing, sit
with your legs crossed and your palms on your knees. As you breathe in, turn over your hand and touch your thumb to
your middle finger and shut your eyes. Try to concentrate only on your breathing. Once you have
done this properly you will feel relaxed and calm. You may have to focus solely on your breathing for a few minutes.
Meditation Exercise
An exercise you could do is create a place on
your astral plane where you can return to when you meditate. Once you are in meditation, create a scenery around you;
anywhere you like. Take some time to feel your surroundings as you create it. After you
have created your private place you can return here whenever you wish to.
